Can I use an external activemq server with bamboo?

We have high load on our bamboo server instances, and I am thinking offloading the activemq portion to a different server might help stop the communication breaks between the server and the remote agents.

I recently joined the Bamboo team, found this and I'm happy to respond that this is currently not supported. Not sure if you still need the answer given how long this has been unanswered.
