Has anyone successfully used datepicker template in a bamboo plugin?

For example, if my edit.ftl file has the following line

@ww.textfield">[@ww.textfieldlabelKey="schedule.date" name="schDate" template='datepicker' required='true' /]

I would expect it to show me a calendar to choose a date.

I throw a tone a javascript errors looking for references to 'jscalendar'

I don't want a cron type picker, i'm looking for a built in calendar date chooser for bamboo (5.3)

the webwork date-picker is not available in Bamboo

It is recommended to use the AUI Date Picker..
