How can I publish/upload changed bamboo specs to bamboo server via maven command line

I have created shell script to change the bamboo specs. It will change the specs but I am not able to publish the changed bamboo specs through maven. Can anyone help me how to do that ?

Do I need to create the maven project for that specs first ? As it is asking for pom.xml
