I have a very simple maven project, with some source files in src/main/java and some test classes in src/test/java.
Running mvn clean package on my local PC or running it on the bamboo server (in another user space) is working without any problems.
When I let my Bamboo server execute this task, it compiles the source classes just fine (default-compile) but when it gets to the test classes (test-compile), it cant find the dependent classes from the "normal" classes (Cannot find symbol).
I compared the log output (mvn -X) from a working build with the failing one and couldn't find anything that might trigger the failure.
Any ideas or hints?
Bamboo version is 5.9.7
Maven compiler plugin version is 3.8.0 with release set to 10

Are the dependent classes compiled with a JDK version 10 or a different one? This is a common behavior when dependencies in class format are located in JAR files that have been produced by a different version of the JDK.
