New "Create Issue" feature fails on all of our issue types

The new create issue feature in Bamboo seems pretty nice, but seems to fail for all of our issue types for reasons like:

Cannot create issue of type B as it requires the following fields: Priority. Please create issue directly in JIRA.

Will this only work with the built in default issue types in Jira? Are there plans to expand this?

I think it will work if you set a default value for your custom priority field. However, I've created an improvement request to support custom fields.
