REST API of Build Result - to return Branch Name

I am looking for an API call that can return branch name that is associated with specific BuildNumber#

Example

https://bamboo.CompanyName.com/rest/api/latest/result/plan-Key/BuildNumber#.json?expand=results.result.artifacts&expand=changes.change.files

I understand that - Builder is not independent from branches but I think there is alternate way to associate branchName with buildplan

Example

Default PlanName -- Maps to a branch that is mentioned repository plugin 

PlanName#2 -- Maps to branchName (can be any feature branch)  -- > this plan is auto generated when you turn on branch builds for your plan

So bottom Line, I am interested to find out how can i get the default BranchName that is associated with Default Build Plan  - (that can be Master Or Develop or somethingelse)

try the /rest/api/latest/result.json?expand=results.result.plan.branches.branch.latestResult endpoint.

that returns a result object with list of branches - but it doesn't return specific branch name that build result was/is associated

I am interested with branchName that is associated for a BuildNumber

Not exactly an API call... but for the record, try this (in Linux shell):

wget -q -O - https://bamboo.YOURDOMAIN/browse/YOUR-BUILD-123 | grep plan-branch-name
