Sometimes we don't know if an Agent has been offline until we go run a build and get stuck in a queue... is there any way to have email alerts sent out if an agent goes offline or has been offline for a specified amount of time?

Hi Cameron,
There is a feature request open to implement this. However, it is possible to create this notification via a plugin if you need it by listening for an AgentOfflineEvent.
