Hello,
When trying to integrate Bamboo with Jira user repository I get the message below. I have followed the steps here before coming to the error:
- Create bamboo-admin group in Jira
- Assign the jiraadmin + 1 user to this group
- Create in Jira User Server a Bamboo Aplication Account with a password
- Then went back to Bamboo to connect Bamboo to Jira User Repository using the just created Bamboo Account
(Both Jira and Bamboo (and Fisheye) run on the same server with different ports)
User Repositories
Bamboo can manage its own users and groups or obtain them from another source.

Hi, thx for the reply.
I tried that but then finally found the answer through a Problem ticket:
Go to "Jira User Server" and add localhost, external IPs when creating the application for Bamboo. It worked now!
Cheers & best,
Andreas

Hi Andreas,
Have you added an application from under administration -> JIRA User Server as well?
If not, add it, restart you instances and check if the problem is fixed!
Hope this helps.
