How does one assign or claim full responsibility for broken branch build as we can on parent build?

We are not seeing the option to Assign or Claim full responsibility for build on the Build Summary page of a broken branch build as we can on the parent build. Is this a configuration option or by design?

No, the Notification tab for the specified branch is set to option, "Use the plan's notification settings"

When you go to the specified branch and then the notifications tab, have you selected the following options by any chance?

Notifications should not be sent for this branch

No notifications will be sent for this branch.

Hi, we are using Bamboo version 5.7.2 build 5716. Attached is a word doc containing screen shot of parent build showing the Responsible section with options to Assign or Claim full responsibility and a screen shot of child branch build not showing the options.

If you click on your branch, then click on the failed build, you will be able to see the options in build summary. Not sure on that bamboo version that you are using. A screen shot would help as well
