How to bring the bamboo clients after bamboo upgrade

Hi,

currently we are upgrading bamboo from 4.3 to 5.5. There are some remote clients running bamboo builds. My question is, When we stop the bamboo from the server end and upgrade the application, will the remote clients will get start running the builds or we need to manually bring the service up?

Remote agents will be updated automatically.

I've just upgraded my Bamboo server from 5.6 to 5.7.2. This upgrade means a Java upgrade (6 to 7) in the server as well. What happens with Java in the agents? At the moment, they have Java 6 installed. Also, how can we know what version an agent is running? As you mention, agents are updated automatically, but it would be good to get some documentation regarding this process so we can troubleshoot. IE: what if the automatic upgrade fails?
