I have bamboo installed in ubuntu oracle on port 4500. When I try to connect to Jira Cloud or Bitbucket Server I get the following error.
I read in a post that could be because my bamboo does not run in ports 80 and 443. In that case if I do not want to go to those ports, what solution could you give me?
Hi @Luis Mendez
Thank you for reaching out to the Atlassian Community!
Unlike Jira Cloud, Bitbucket Cloud does not need an Application link, although both need Bamboo to be available on port 80 or 443. Bamboo's default port – 8085 – may also work as well. Please see Link to server products from Cloud and Functional differences in Atlassian Cloud for more detail.
To use Bitbucket Cloud for your source code repository, you can add a Linked repository through Administration > Linked repositories.
----
Please note: Due to a change in the Bitbucket Cloud API for compliance with GDPR privacy regulations, we currently cannot link Bitbucket Cloud repositories to Bamboo. As part of the update, a variable containing information that Bamboo expects in the JSON response from Bitbucket was removed.
This resulted creation of new Linked repositories of type “Bitbucket Cloud” failing with 401 (Unauthorized) exceptions. You may see an “Invalid username” error message in the Bamboo UI.
As a workaround, we recommend creating Linked repositories of type Git or Mercurial to connect to your Bitbucket Cloud repositories.
For more information, please follow our public bug report:
We have been working with the Bamboo developers to create a hotfix for this issue, which we expect to be available next week.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
Regards,
Elias Zeidan | Bamboo Support
