Install python 2.7.5 on Bamboo onDemand instance

Hi,

What is the best way to install python 2.7.5 on the default AMI provided with Bamboo onDemand?

Is is possible to use the startup script for it?

Yes, the easiest way is to use the startup script. A 2.7.3 pacakge can be installed with yum.
