REST API: How do you create a new release from build result?

I have a project where I need to leverage the API to trigger deployments. I found how to deploy a release that already exists when I know the deploy environment ID and the release ID. I need help understanding how to use the API to "Create a new release from build result", the deploy option that is available from bamboo's web interface. Any tips would be appreciated!
