We have a Bamboo plan which is configured to create Create plan branches for the new branches that are created on the remote GTI (Stash in this case)
The plan is also configured to delete plan branches after 3 days when the remote plan is deleted.
We have been having issues lately when bamboo deletes the plan branch with the following log output:
./catalina.out:111755168:2018-03-01 03:00:00,052 INFO [scheduler_Worker-7] [BranchExpiryJob] Deleting Plan Branch 'Fusion - Fusion FW SC1500 CI - release-MSM_r18_1_candidate' of Plan 'Fusion - Fusion FW SC1500 CI' since the VCS branch was deleted 3 days ago
But the VCS branch is still existing on the remote and is being committed almost every day. Strangely enough, even if the branch is created manually it gets deleted when the clean daemon is executed.
Is this a bug? Or am I forgetting something here? We are running Bamboo version 5.13.2 build 51316.
Hi Kishore,
Is this a branch that used to exist, was then deleted, and then re-created?
If that's the situation then this is a known bug in Bamboo, see https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/BAM-16341.
Cheers,
