I was able to modify the {bamboo-install-dir}/bin/setenv.sh to change the bamboo path at the top, then restart bamboo and it worked.
{bamboo_installation_directory}/atlassian-bamboo/WEB-INF/classes/bamboo-init.properties

So that's variable BAMBOO_HOME set by maybe some scripts.
it can be you systemctl file or setenv.sh or something.
