Visual Studio Configuration / Platform choices

I am trying to setup a build configuration for my visual studio 2010 professional project. The visual platform we are using is "x64".
"x64" is not present in the dropdwon list to choose platform in the task settings.

How can i set my visual studio build correctly?

Hi Adrien,

The x64 platforms are provided by two vendors; AMD64 provided by AMD and the ia64 provided by the itanium. I believe the x64 is a general name for the 64-bit platforms as explained in:

You can therefore decide to choose either of the above platform in your task configuration depending on your vendor
