Why I cant use existing licence key when I want to move Bamboo to a different database?

Hello,

I have a commercial bamboo instance which uses embedded HSQL. But I want to use Oracle DB.

That's why i follwed the step at the link https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/BAMBOO/Moving+your+Bamboo+data+to+a+different+database.

When Setup Wizard comes up, I need to enter a licence key. I entered my old licence key. Yet of course it didnt work. When i checked the bamboo-home directory for my new Bamboo instance

the "bamboo.cfg.xml" file wasnt contain any key. I tried to insert old one manually. Yet another fail.

Has anyone any suggestions? Do I pay for the licence key again JUST TO MOVE ANOTHER DB?

Go to https://my.atlassian.com/product to obtain a developers license, then complete your setup. Once you have your new instance up and running, you can swap out this license with your commercial license.
