I am trying to setup Elastic Bamboo with the Windows Default stock image and have it connect to an EBS. What I am finding is that the createInitialVolume.sh does not work for many reasons. First there is no root user on Windows and second the curl commands are not installed for Cygwin. Finally, the Amazon commands weren't installed either. Am I missing something here? Are there batch files to do this since it's a windows machine? Is a custom image the way to go here?
It is currently not supported. You have to do it yourself with a customer image. It has been proposed as a feature. If you're interested in seeing it, vote for it here https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/BAM-14612
I would like to do the same thing, but I think you can only run those commands to set up a snapshot on a linux instance.
It sure would be nice to get a definitive answer from the Atlassian folks!!
