I have been using a custom task in a Build plan but when I try to add the task to a Deployment project set of tasks, I cannot see the task in the list of available tasks from which to choose.
Are custom tasks allowed in Deployment projects?
The custom task is implemented in Java and makes REST-style requests to JIRA in order to update issue statuses. It is similar in structure to the "HelloWorld" plugin outlined in the tutorial here: https://developer.atlassian.com/bamboodev/bamboo-tasks-api/writing-a-task-with-a-user-interface
Michael, I want to get some info from you to see if I can help out w/ this. I'm able to use common custom tasks in both my Build Plans and Deployment Projects. Is the custom task that you're using in your Build Plan a command-type task?
