how to hide a task type in Bamboo ?

Hussain Misbah November 20, 2015

Hi, is there a way to hide certain task types in Bamboo ?

some task types are not relevant in my organization and will never be used, is there a way to hide those ?

we are a Microsoft shop so we never use PHP or Tomcat for example, is there a way to hide them ?

Thanks

Misbah

You can achieve this as an administrator within Bamboo Server as follows:

  1. Go to 'Manage add-ons'
  2. Adjust the filter to 'All add-ons'
  3. Search the add-on that is providing the task in question, e.g. the 'Atlassian Bamboo PHP Builder Plugin'
  4. Click on the 'x of y modules enabled' link
  5. Find the module that is providing the task in question, e.g. 'PHPUnit'
  6. Click the 'Disable' button

  • information In Bamboo Cloud this level of administrative control is amongst the restricted functions and you will only see a 'Module cannot be modified' info instead of the 'Disable' button.
