Set directory as build artifact

I want to set an entire directory created during a build plan as an artifact but I'm having some trouble understanding how to do that. I entered in the copy pattern the following:

**/assets

the directory is created under the build plan's folder.

Welp, chalk up another one to me being ignorant. I changed the copy pattern to:

**/assets/*
