We are facing the issue when executing the SQL configuration task with ORACLE database
“Task exception: Unable to load database driver: oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver. Make sure your configuration is correct. Exception: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver “
Driver is present in the location /apps/bamboo/lib/ojdbc8.jar and dbJar pointing the same.
The below is our dBProfile
dbUser = ${bamboo.dbUser} | dbPassword = ${bamboo.dbPassword} | dbUrl = jdbc:oracle:thin:@${bamboo.dbHostname}:${bamboo.dbPort}:${bamboo.dbName} | dbDriver = oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver | dbJar = jar:file:/${bamboo.dbJar}!/
Please let me know if you need some more information ?
This was the Syntax issue
dbJar = jar:file:/${bamboo.dbJar}!/ should be dbJar = ${bamboo.dbJar}
Due to this wrong syntax sytem not able to identify the driver files.
Hi @Mohanraj
I'll need more details to better understand how you are using the task.
First of all, can you confirm what is the task type you are using?
You said you are using SQL configuration task, but Bamboo does not have a native task for this. Are you referring to a task from this (SQL for Bamboo | Atlassian Marketplace) plugin?
