Hi,

I'm following the instructions at https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/BAMBOO40/Creating+a+custom+elastic+image to create a custom AMI to run our test suite through Bamboo OnDemand (I need to create a custom image as the test instance needs to be 64-bit, but the default Bamboo image has a 32-bit OS).

In section 5.3.2 I need to work out the imageVer value to use when installing the bamboo agent, so I'm following the steps in section 2 to determine this. I understand Bamboo OnDemand is running version 3.0.4, so I'm looking in https://maven.atlassian.com/content/repositories/atlassian-public/com/atlassian/bamboo/atlassian-bamboo/3.0.4/atlassian-bamboo-3.0.4.pom for the elastic-image.version tag, but it doesn't seem to be there.

What is the correct imageVer value to use at step 5.3.2?

Thanks,

Duncan

Hi Duncan,

You will need to follow the guide for Bamboo 3.0, as this is the version that is currenlty deployed to Bamboo OnDemand.

We are in the process of upgrading Bamboo OnDemand to Bamboo 4.0 (we have no public release date just yet) which has the added benifit that you will not need to re-customize ec2 images when we update Bamboo.

Let me know if you run into any problems.

Thanks
James
