Hi,
We have been playing with Elastic Instances and have configured a couple different flavors and doing some testing. Bamboo wants to shut these down and terminate after 1 hour. We have prevented this by changing the EC2 instance shutdown behavior to just stop, as we have some work in progress on the EC2 instance.
We stopped these instance in the EC2 dashboard overnight and resumed our work this morning.
Now it seems like we cant reconnect to these EC2 instances that show as disconnected instances.
Is there anyway to reconnect these?
Thanks
No, no way to do that currently. At some point the server-side data about that instance will be removed and the instance won't reconnect.
If you disable that agent, IIRC it won't be shut down - try that.
so basically what you are suggesting is start a new elastic instance and then when we need to pause the instance, just disable it in bamboo?
