Taking a Break to Re-Think

Are you as zoom-fatigued as we are?

A little over a year since all this started, at least one online event per week, tried all kinds of stuff and platforms, won the “Set The Standards” Community Award (Yippie! Thank you!).

Also: Living in a world of a million webinars per day, seeing less and less attendance, even below the traditional 50% Berlin average of RSVP, another canned Atlassian summit (Sorry: Team XX, current instance: 21).  57 channels and nothing on. 

But: The end is not yet here, but we can see it from where we are now and one can almost taste the cold beer* under an old linden tree, by a river, in the sun, with people in real 3D, without funny video effects and the same (real 3D) background for everyone.

Time to take a break and re-think what we are doing.

We will be back in June with a reduced frequency of two online events per month, and we try to figure out something more interactive than webinars. A few ideas, too early to tell.

A bunch of recordings to process, so there will be activity in our YouTube channel (again).

Preparing for the day after.

And how about that cold beer*, by the river, in the sun in – say – August?
