2FA recovery over ssh issue

Solved: Eventually I was able to use the password that I reset to in conjunction with `ssh git@bitbucket.org recovery_codes` to get a recovery code to get back in my account with the reset password. 

I lost my password and no longer have my authenticator app or downloaded authenticated codes. I'm able to use the `ssh git@bitbucket.org recovery_codes` but it asks for a password and I can't figure out what the correct password is. 

Is there any way that it is still possible to recover my account? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
