Are Hg Snippets Being Deleted when Hg Repositories are Removed from Bitbucket?

It isn't possible for a user to change a snippet repository type once it is created, so are all Hg snippets being deleted when Hg repositories are removed from Bitbucket?

Or will all existing snippets be changed to git by the friendly and super-helpful Bitbucket team?
