BitBucket Migration from v5.12 to v6.6.2

Shall we migrate Bit Bucket from v5.12 to v6.6.2  directly in Prod  without going for lower version like 6.1. or 6.2 or 6.3 . We followed one approach in QA there we migrate from 5.12 to 6.3.2  ,then later to 6.6.2.  Which approach do we need to follow . Please advise.

Hi,

For your production migration you should always follow the exact same process you followed to upgrade your test environments, because otherwise those tests are meaningless.

From the Bitbucket Server perspective there is no need to do intermediate upgrades - you can go straight from 5.12 to 6.6.2.
