Good morning!

I am reaching out as a student who's Eclipse environment will not connect to BitBucket. I have been advised by my professor to contact support, but to avoid having to upgrade the account plan since my school has already upgraded my account once, I am reaching out here.

My current issue I believe is that the workspace I joined for my course, I don't have admin status or capabilities. I gathered this conclusion due to not being able to simply create my own repository. I only have access to the auto populated repository. On top of noticing that aspect, the error codes I receive from Eclipse when I try to clone the workspace repository to connect it as my remote repository via created app password, all of them mention the connection not being permitted (see screenshot).

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Hi Mya,

The admin for the workspace needs to add you to a user group that has access to repositories. You are currently in the default user group which doesn't have any access to repositories.

This isn't something support/the community can resolve - you'll need to reach out to the workspace admin.

Cheers!
