Hello,
When I visit a branch on Bitbucket, and click on "diff", I do not see the diff "micro" highlights (not sure of the technical name for this highlight):
In order to see these, I have to create a PR or click on one of the commit hashes:
Just curious, is there a way to see the "micro" highlights without having to dig deeper than the diff view of a branch?
It would be most convenient to see these highlights without having to click deeper to a specific commit and/or create a PR.
I'm sure there's a reason for this ... Mostly curious to know what that reasoning is and/or if I'm overlooking a feature of the Bitbucket GUI.
Thanks!
This is the strangest thing. I just checked today and now clicking diff shows me the highlights.
I'm not sure what changed, but after months/years of not seeing the "micro" highlights, it is now working.
Ahh, I just realized that this only works when there's only one commit. When there's multiple commits, the "micro" diff highlighting goes away. I'm guessing there's an obvious technical reason for this. Maybe I'll ask another question with the title of "Why do micro diff highlights go away, when there are 2 or more commits, when viewing the diff tab?"
