Bitbucket PR shows stale SonarCloud Quality Gate while latest analysis passes

Context: The PR initially failed SonarCloud's Quality Gate. The issue was fixed and pipelines were re-run. SonarCloud now shows the Quality Gate as Passed for the PR's head commit.

Problem: In the Bitbucket PR, the SonarCloud integration check is still red and displays "Quality Gate failed - 4 days ago." All other checks are green. Screenshot attached.

Questions: 
1. Why is the integration status in Bitbucket stale/outdated in this scenario?
2. What is the correct way to fix this so the SonarCloud check reliably reflects the PR head commit going forward?

The integration you're referring to is developed solely by SonarSource, this includes all data sent to/from the integration as per the Marketplace listing for the app.
