Bitbucket default repository

Whenever I want to create a new branch in BitBucket, my default repository is a particular repository. I would like to change it to another repository which is the one I use the most since this is the one I am usually using. Do you know how we could change this default repository?

Hi Shelley!

I'm not sure I completely understand what's happening.

To create a branch, you need to navigate to the repo where you want to create it first, if you want a different repo you need to go back to Bitbucket's main page and click on the repo you want. Once you click on Create branch it will show Master by default, as that's the main branch.

Can you let us know the steps you're following to create the branch? You can also add a screenshot to help us get a better context.

Cheers!

Ana
