Hello,
We are using bitbucket at work and somehow it magically stopped working for me. Everything worked perfectly fine, I could pull/push and etc on bitbucket via SSH, then suddenly stopped working.
I was on ubuntu 18.10; thought it was my computer issue; so I have backuped ssh public/private keys; formatted pc - reinstalled to ubuntu 19.10.
Tried cloning again and no luck - just stands as "Cloning into ##....".
I tried generating and adding many different keys, but the result was always the same.
Were there any changes or did I miss anything?
Regards!
Hello @Ramunas Meironas ,
Welcome to the Community!
Isn't your problem similar to this one? Can you enforce IPv4 for SSH and see if that resolves the issue?
Let me know if that worked.
Cheers,
Daniil
Hello Daniil_Penkin,
Thanks for the reply.
Well I have managed to fix the issue yesterday myself; yes, I solved by doing quite different, but did the trick.
By checking throught ssh -Tv git@bitbucket.org, I managed to see that it didn't work anbd pointed to IPv6; yet on my macbook worked fine (just made sure no network issues with 22 port in case of some magical network necromancy).
However, by showing some brute force-love in hosts and pointing 18.205.93.0 bitbucket.org worked like a charm. I know this might be not the most optimal solution, I will try changing to as your recommendations as in other post, namely enforcing ipv4 for ssh and git. However the temporary crisis was solved :).
Thanks for the help anyways!
