Can we do bitbucket smart marring between BitBucket Cloud and Self hosted Data Center?

The scenario is here:

I want to smart mirror feature b/w cloud and self hosted DC, And later some point in time i want to use the mirror as primary and cut off the parent/cloud.. Is any one explored please me know the steps and results/experience.

Smart mirroring is not a server replication system, it is more of a local cache of a remote server.  If you "cut off" the primary, the mirror will effectively be read only until you convert it to think it is a "primary" and independent of the original.
