Cannot activate add-ons after upgrade to Atlassian Bitbucket v6.1.2

After upgrading bitbucket from version 5.4 to version v6.1.2 it's not possible to activate any previous installed add-on.

e.g.

Hi Joerg,

Have you checked that the plugins are compatible with the new version of BB you have installed? It can happen that the plugins are incompatible with the version of Bitbucket you're running now, so Bitbucket disables the incompatible plugins by default to prevent them impacting the instance. You can read more about this here.

This is assuming you were referring to user installed add-ons, or were you referring to system add-ons too?

I'm getting the same error for plugins listed as compatible with version 6.1.3

Nevermind I solved it.

@Joerg Hoehn you probably upgraded Bitbucket before updating plugins in the old version.

Updating the plugins in the new version and restarting Bitbucket solved it for me
