Cant authenticate with GCloud. Docker version problem...

I've been struggling to get the authentication working with GCloud again. It used to work and all of the sudden it stopped.

I get the following error:

When I try the "new" suggested way by GCloud I get access denied. Why is it suggesting the alternative to authenticate when the version is clearly below 18.03 ? 

My bitbucket-pipeline is rather simple:

I have tried various ways to do this but nothing seem the work. I'm stuck...

nevermind, it was in my face all along...

Just need to add 

 --verbosity=error

To quiet the warning.
