Good afternoon. I'm having trouble logging into my Bitbucket account. I have the email and password, but when I log in, it asks me for a two-factor authentication code, which I never enabled. The problem is that I no longer have the associated email address. How can I log in, or can I change my email address?
I hope you can help, thank you very much.
Welcome to the community.
Sorry to hear that you're unable to login to Bitbucket.org due to 2FA and you no longer have access to your email.
Unfortunately, the only way to gain access to an account is through the primary email address.
For that, the best I can suggest is to reach out to the administrators of the email to provide temporary access either via port forwarding or direct email access for you to recover your Bitbucket Cloud account.

The problem is that the account domain no longer exists, so they can't give me access. Although I can continue uploading to the repositories using the certificate, I can't access the website because you activated two-step authentication without my permission. Please, I need a solution from you, as two-step authentication should have been activated with my consent.
I look forward to your response.

Unfortunately, the only way to gain access to the account is through the email address associated with it. I understand how frustrating this can be, and I truly empathise with your situation.
Regrettably, we are unable to provide access ourselves because we don't have access to any email addresses either.
Regarding the two-step authentication, please keep in mind that we cannot enable 2FA on behalf of users. This can only be done using the specific account. If your account is managed by organization admins, they have the ability to enforce this on their end.
If you still have access to the repositories using the account, another option you might consider is pushing those repositories to a new workspace by creating a new account. We hope this alternative can help you move forward.
