We are currently using Stash and it was integrated with Bamboo CI server. All linked repos in bamboo are pointing out to stash, but we also had a seperate test-server for bitbucket for upgrade. when we remove stash and integrate bamboo with bit-bucket using app links, those linked repos were not pointing to bitbucket.
Do we need to link the server, repositories and branches manually to point out to bitbucket. but we are using more than 100 repositories in the Bamboo server. Is there any way to link the server, repositories, and branches in an automated way like update the scripts or else any configurations, how it is working earlier. Please suugest if it can be done using APIs. If so please suggest the one to use.
Hi Remedy,
The reason the app link did not bring the information over from one instance to another is due to the fact they each have their own database so the Application link would not connect the Stash and BitBucket databases.
The easiest way to perform this would be to upgrade Stash to the current version of BitBucket and then we can help you find the ID for the Application link, repos etc. and replace the old applicaiton link with the new one if the application link needs to be changed if necessary.
Cheers,
Branden
