Hi Bitbucket,
Could you do a git gc (garbage collector) to clean my repository, because one is over only in 1.02 gb, please let me know.
Thanks
Hi @Jonathan Reyes ,
Your free workspace currently hosts numerous repositories, totaling 2.8 GB, exceeding the 1 GB limit for free workspaces. I conducted garbage collection on the 1.02 GB repository, but it did not affect the overall workspace size. To enable garbage collection, you must first reduce the repository size locally and then push those changes to the remote repository. While garbage collection offers a temporary solution, as you continue working on the repositories and potentially add more, the combined size is likely to surpass this limit even further.
To address this issue, you have two options:
Option 1:
Option 2:
As long as the total size of all your repositories remains under 1 GB, you will be able to push changes again.
I hope this information helps.

Hi @Phil C
This is quite strange. If the repository shows a total size of 2.8 GB, and the 1 GB total storage limit was enforced starting April 28, 2025, why was I only prevented from pushing code last week when the workspace suddenly became read-only?
I need your support because we have 1 week without push code.
Thanks in advance for your support.
Warm regards

Hi @Phil C
Could you re-run gc, I already upgraded to standard and I used bfg to clean the repositories, but my android repository got more usage and now is 2.1 gb, do you know why?
Thanks in advance.
