Create a pre-hook bitbucket script to scan for forbidden words of phrases in a commit.

I would like to write a plugin to do this but I can not see how to interact with the contents of a commit to scan for the words. Is this possible? I also am running scriptrunner on the bitbucket data center server and would be willing to attempt it there if possible.
