Hello Community,
we are trying to migrate a v1 yaml pipeline to a new spec version and it turned out that 'docker' option does not change anything in case of a deployment project. namely,
neither
docker: image:tag
nor
docker:
image: image:tag
are not respected during plan execution. Deployment project in both cases runs in an agent environment and it's clearly seen in the Bamboo UI.
However, in case of any syntax error, e.g. typo in docker keyword or something else, plan compilation immeadeatly fails with the relevant error message.
As for build plan is concerned, everything works as expected for some reason.
I can confirm the issue presents. As of v6.9.1, deployment plants always run in an agent environment rather than in a specified Docker container image and it's quite sad :(
we upgraded our installation to up2date v6.9.2 and nothings changed. deployments still run in incorrect environment.
can some Atlassian employee confirm the bug?
