Does bitbucket use multipart upload of files to aws s3-bucket?

I'm looking at migrating a bitbucket from using a local storage for LFS to use s3 bucket to store them. Some of the files can be quite large and in the atlassian migration documentation it says that file size is limited by s3 bucket limitations. I did check up that the limit on the aws side is 5TB per object, but you need to use multipart upload to upload it.

I haven't managed to find anything says that bitbucket uses multipart upload to upload files or not? So storing LFS in s3 bucket, are we limited to 5GB (single put) or 5TB (multipart upload), do anyone know the answer to this?
