Don't receive mails about pull request activity

martin_fuhrer March 7, 2025

Since two days I don't receive any pull request activity mails anymore. I already checked everything at my side (e.g. spam folder) and in bitbucket settings (e.g. pull requests are watched). Is there any known reason why mails are blocked somewhere?

Hi Martin and welcome to the community!

Your email address was in one of our suppression lists, which I believe is the reason why you were not receiving the emails. We use different email providers, which explains why you receive other emails from Atlassian but now the pull request ones.

Our email service providers use suppression lists to minimize repeated failed deliveries to invalid email addresses and to maintain our reputation. An email address is added to the suppression list after a single bounce (we send an email and the recipient's mail server responds with a hard bounce event).

I went ahead and removed your email address from the suppression list. Can you please monitor from now on and let me know if the issue is resolved?

Kind regards,
Theodora

I do receive other mails from Atlassian, e.g. the mails related to this post.
