Getting Started -- How To Browse Your Own Repository Online?

Hi, I searched for this question and did not find anything.  Maybe I'm not using the right words, cuz it seems like a beginners question  :-)

Question: When I go to "<> Source" all it shows is the README.md and a rendering of it.   I do not see the other files and folders I committed to the rep.  Is it possible to browse your files/folders online or do you have to clone it locally to do that?

I have two assumptions here:

1. you don't have any commits yet
2. you don't have commits in the master branch, which is the branch from your screenshot so, once you select a different branch, you'll see your commits.

Could you please double check from your side?
