Has the behavior changed for removing "needs work" from a pull request?

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
Recently upgraded to 6.2 (from 5.x). It seems that now pushing commits does not automatically update the status of a PR to remove the "Needs Work" designation.
Is this a documented feature in the upgrade or a bug I should report? If the functionality changed, how are we supposed to mark PRs as ready for re-review?
