History Problem with two branches

Hello Guys

We currently have a problem where we can't figure out how this happened through Git history.

We created two branches from the master at the same time via Jira/Bitbucket. After some commits we notice that both branches have the same history up to a certain point in time (Even the line is the same and has no branch). After Git there was no merge. It looks like both branches have been synchronized.

Does anyone have an idea what went wrong there so we can avoid this kind of problem?
