How do I enable BitBucket New Issues to Create Jira Issue type "Bug"?

I have BitBucket Cloud, and Jira Software Cloud.  

When a user submits a BitBucket Issue, I would like that issue to create and link to a Jira Issue Type "Bug".

I've read several articles about connecting the two softwares, I've followed the directions located here, but can't seem to figure this out.  

Has anyone figured this out?

Hello Lee and welcome to the Community!

Currently, Bitbucket issues are self-contained within Bitbucket and are not linkable to Jira. You’re able to link Jira issue to commits within Bitbucket, but Bitbucket issues will not be linked or sync out to Jira.
