How to allow users to download a branch/repo as a zip file.

raymonsandhu April 6, 2018

I have recently created a public repo for people to access my project. I want to allow non-git able'd users to be able to download my code as a zip file. The bitbucket docs appear to be outdated and the steps shown do not work to download as a zip file. It seems this feature was removed? Can I do this?

@raymonsandhu Yes you can download the whole repository as a zip.

See one example below

Also see "branches", "tags" tab for downloading corresponding source code from branches or tags

Will this zip include any file stored using Git LFS?

From first glance it appears it will not.
