How to create Bitbucket Staging Environment (Not Data Center)

I tried following the directions on the site as they recommend using an Add-on that makes this easy. That add-on fails to install saying "Invalid File" not matter what. If you try to go through Atlassian Marketplace it says you must install manually. 
My company wants the staging environment to be identical to our current production so that we can Upgrade in the staging environment first for testing. Anyone else run into these issues?

First of all set up the same Bitbucket version and then you can take the prod Bitbucket server backup and restore it to newly bitbucket.

To take the backup of prod Bitbucket use Bitbucket backup client or the other strategies available here.
