Hi all,
I'm developing a bitbucket hook and I would like to execute some free style git commands in it.
After some research I understood GitScm is the thing I was looking for:
"Provides functionality for interacting with Git repositories, exposing factories which can be used to retrieve ready-built commands for performing well-known operations as well as a
builder factory
which can be used to assemble custom commands.
Can anyone please share an example of how to do it?
How exactly does GitScm "exposing factories"?
This might be a trivial Java question but GitScm is an interface (abstract) and I cannot instantiate it like the below snippet, so what is the alternative way?:
GitCommandFactory cmdFctry = new GitScm().getCommandFactory();
Any help would be highly appreciated, Tal
